Course Information
Five sets of tees make Cameron Hills Golf Links a welcome course for every skill level. The most renowned hole, #9, is a par 4 (or 5 for women) which will both challenge and awe you. At the tees, you will need to drive 160 yards to land for your second shot. Then, drive another 100 yards down over a ravine for a total carryover shot or else be out of bounds. You sit atop a hill as you peer down 80 feet below to the beautiful green below.


















Cameron Hills Golf Links is a great fit for golfers with a penchant for food and the 19th hole. Do not be surprised to learn how golfers travel hours for their chopped North Carolina style BBQ sandwich, made with a legendary secret sauce. After your round, dine at one of three nearby restaurants for a taste of the Chesapeake Bay.
In Colonial Beach you will find the Riverboat Restaurant which sits on a pier over the Maryland water and offers an outside deck area, interior restaurant, banquet space, off-track horse betting, keno, and other gambling tournaments. Or, try High Tides on the Potomac restaurant for great steak and seafood and over 200 feet of bar space. Travel to Fairview Beach instead, to get your fill of Maryland crabs, oysters, rock fish and more!’



















Make sure you include Cameron Hills Golf Links on your next golf trip which is easily accessible from Fredericksburg or via Route 301 and the Potomac River Bridge [there is a toll coming from southern Maryland, but not going into southern Maryland.
The bermuda grass fairways provide a tight turf net that blossoms to an amazing green during the warm months of the golf season.  Our fleet of gas powered carts provides the much needed horsepower on the "hills" of Cameron Hills Golf LinksThe outdoor seating area of the clubhouse provides an amazing panoramic view of the two finishing holes.  Our outdoor pavilion provides a great eating and meeting area for tournaments, charity outings, and large groups who want to enjoy watching golf on the course while enjoying our Southern BBQ Buffet or during award presentations.  The drop off approach shot to the #9 green must clear a 100 yard ravine that has captured many a player's favorite ball.  A par 4 for men, but a par 5 for women that has become Cameron Hill's signature hole.  Our practice green provides a consistent feel of the bermuda grass greens before your round begins.One of only a few thousand GCSAA certified golf course superintendents, Rob Ferlazzo has maintainted the 100+ acres for over 15 years.  His knowledge of the 18 "micro"climates around the course provide Cameron Hills with the best turf management leader in the area.An aerial view showing the true links style course that contains isolated holes which do not interfere with play on adjacent fairways. This hole has a two tiered fairway that provides a strategic choice for where to play your second shot.  The waterfront Hole 18 bentgrass green in view of the clubhouse outdoor dining area.  Noted as the "best greens in the mid-atlantic."  A challenging yet rewarding finishing hole.  The approach shot to #16 green.  A par 5 that begins with blind tee shot and requires a long second shot over the stream on the front side of the green to stay in play.The meticulously maintained bentgrass greens provide an honest read for golfers with consistent speed throughout all 18 holes.Using the latest in scarifying and verticutting technology, the staff keeps the greens at the highest quality year round.
